Healthy Thai beef salad

  • 200g lean organic beef steaks
  • 2 tbs tamari soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Salad dressing

  • ½ tsp garlic
  • ½ tsp chilli
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 2½ tbs lime juice
  • 3 tsp tamari soy sauce
  • 2 tbs chopped coriander
  • Salad

  • Shredded lettuce (such as butternut and iceberg)
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, cut diagonally into thin slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup bean shoots
  • 3 shallots, finely chopped


Healthy Thai beef salad

Place all the salad ingredients in a large bowl and toss to combine, then divide among two bowls.

Combine all the dressing ingredients together, mix well, and set aside.

Cook the steak on a grill or in a pan over medium-high heat until cooked to your liking. Slice it into strips, place it on top of the salad, drizzle over the dressing and toss to serve.
