While omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for brain health, our bodies cannot make them. They need to be consumed through the diet or via supplementation.

Fish is a rich dietary source of omega-3, including DHA, particularly cold water fish such as salmon, mackerel, sardines and tuna. Omega-3 can also be taken in the form of fish oil capsules.
